Jamoris Slaughter Returns To Browns On Practice Squad | Profootballtalk

Slaughter was waived as the team made their cuts to 53 players on Saturday, which meant any other team in the league could have claimed him and put him on their 53-man roster. No one did and the Browns announced Monday that Slaughter is back in the fold as a member of the practice squad. While thats clearly not as good as starting, it will buy Slaughter more time to regain his form after missing the entire 2012 season at Notre Dame because of a torn Achilles. Wide receiver Jasper Collins , defensive back Kip Edwards , defensive back Darius Eubanks , defensive back Terrence Frederick , wide receiver Tori Gurley and defensive back Julian Posey join Slaughter on a pratice squad thats heavily slanted toward the secondary. Gurley and Posey spent the summer with Cleveland, which has one spot left to fill on the practice squad.
